I have been teaching at Ryan Elementary since 2004. I also taught for a year in England. I earned an M.A. in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity from the University of Colorado and a B.A. in Education from Regis University. I am married to Andrew who is the love of my life. I have two boys, Tanner and Konner, who keep me busy either driving them to soccer practices or watching them play. In the winter, as a family, we love to ski together. Our family is also involved in a nonprofit called The 10/10 Project which is working to alleviate poverty specifically in Kenya. I have a dog, Stig, a beautiful all-white Siberian husky with blue eyes who loves to eat my ripening vegetables from our garden. I moved to Colorado in 1998 and love waking up everyday to the mountains and this amazing climate. I love running or working out and reading a good book with a cup of chai tea.
